Ross Castle

Sitting majestically since the 15th century on the shore of one Killarney’s three outstandingly beautiful lakes, Ross Castle was the last stronghold in Munster to resist the onslaught of Oliver Cromwell. Now the perfect point from which to explore the circumference of the lakes on foot, or via boat rides from the lake shore outside the castle.
